After making the front-left leg, let's now assemble the back-left leg !
The process is pretty much the same as the front-left leg, with a couple of mirrored parts.
Here's a quick overview of the sections in this chapter:
- Bottom Assembly
We'll first start by assembling the bottom part of the leg, which includes the foot and half of the knee joint. - Top Assembly
We'll then assemble the top part of the leg, which houses the knee servomotor and guides of the wires. - Leg Assembly
We'll then put the two parts together to get a complete leg, and make sure everything is properly aligned and secured. - Shoulder Installation
We'll add the shoulder part to the torso, and attach the leg to it to complete the leg assembly. - Adding the Plastic Covers
Finally, we'll add a couple of plastic covers to make the leg look nice and hide the wires and other components. - Wiring the Leg
Finally, we'll connect the leg to the rest of the robot and ensure everything is properly wired.
