The Shoulders

By now you should be a pro at placing heat inserts!

We hope you are, because the shoulders require some precision and care to place the heat inserts correctly!

Size and placement

Here's the heat inserts to use for the 4 shoulders:

For this step, you'll need these heat inserts:

1	M2.5 x 2mm	Shoulder Top Holes	2 (x 4)

There's only two heat inserts to place on each shoulder part, but their placement is crucial, as any misalignment will affect the legs movement and the overall assembly of the robot.

Be careful with these ones, and make sure to place them straight and flush with the surface of the part.

Final inspection

After placing the heat inserts, make sure to inspect the part to check that all the inserts are properly seated and flush with the surface of the part.

If you notice any issues, such as an insert that is not fully seated or is tilted, you can try to reheat it and adjust its position until it is properly placed.
